A Defining Day: INSEAD Asia Campus Inauguration (2000)

On 23 October 2000, a vision took root in Singapore as INSEAD opened the doors to its Asia Campus. This milestone made INSEAD the first business school to pioneer the dual-campus model, transforming us from a European business school into a truly global one. INSEAD Founder and Former Chairman of the Board Claude Janssen, Former Dean Gabriel Hawawini and Founding Dean of the Asia Campus Arnoud De Meyer joined Singapore’s Founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew to inaugurate the campus.
