With our social impact focus in the Full-Time MBA at the University of Georgia Terry College of Business, our goal is to prepare future business leaders to develop creative solutions to these key challenges and to help companies organize their strategies around their larger purpose. We also need to equip the next generation of leaders with tools to be more responsive to all stakeholders - shareholders, workers, communities, and society – and to create solutions that leave a positive footprint on these communities and in society.

We’re living in a rapidly changing world where technology is disrupting markets while creating new ones at the same time. Demographic changes across the world are bringing new consumers into markets, while globalization has dissolved boundaries for manufacturing companies and supply chains. As a result, we have increased competition for natural resources, negative environmental impacts, and a need to rethink how we examine and address social inequities. As these disruptions continue, corporations will continue to play a key role in influencing both society and government.
