Congratulations to the EMBA class of February 2026! Speeches at Saturday’s graduation ceremony reflected on the legacy of leadership in the age of AI and underscored the importance of fostering connection and embracing humanity at a critical juncture for the world of work. 🔷 IMD President David Bach noted that, as the first generation of leaders to “onboard intelligence” — both human and artificial — their legacy will not be the algorithms they deploy, but the humanity they protect while doing so. 🔷 Professor Vanina Farber, in her final speech as Dean of the EMBA Program, encouraged the graduating class to honor the invisible longing in those they lead. “Stay connected. That is IMD's greatest gift, and it is yours for life,” she said. 🔷 Keynote speaker Marguerite Kudelski challenged the class to be committed and courageous leaders who make ethical decisions and create sustainable value, rather than becoming “ego managers.” 🔷 Class “EMBAssadors Adriana Kiedzierska - Mencfeld and Marco Serena called on their ‘I make a difference’ cohort to accept responsibility for their sphere of influence, choosing values even when the costs is real.
