Faculty Support Empowering Student Growth at the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business
Amelia Stezoski (B’26) started her journey at Duquesne as a Discover Business student. Faculty support, along with real-world, hands-on projects, helped Amelia realize her passion for Supply Chain Management and Information Systems & Technology. As part of the Supply Chain Process Improvement course, Amelia worked on a course-embedded project for Kraft Heinz in Downtown Pittsburgh. Working with both a dedicated professor and a passionate industry mentor provided Amelia with a moment of clarity. “That was the lightbulb moment where I knew I wanted to pursue Supply Chain,” she said. The faculty also encouraged Amelia to get involved with various campus organizations, including the Duquesne Supply Chain Council, Women in Business, Delta Sigma Pi, and the Evergreen Environmental Club. “I’ve definitely been able to say yes a lot at Duquesne,” she said. “These experiences have allowed me to make the most out of my time here.” Meaningful support, pratical experience, and campus involvement have prepared Amelia for a successful career as a difference-maker.
