Before starting the HKU MBA, Pavan Kumar (Class of 2022) had found the idea of “innovation” difficult to define as it seemed to hold different meaning to different people. But through courses he took at HKU and during his exchange at Columbia Business School, he came to see that #innovation is not the result of some magical, lightning-strike moment. Instead, creativity is a process that can be properly define and structured. Building on this insight, Pavan pivoted his career from engineering to consulting, with a focus on helping companies systematise the innovation process.
