As part of the LBS-ISB Research Exchange Programme, we welcomed Nitish Jain, Associate Professor of Management Science and Operations at London Business School and an ISB alumnus (PGP Class of 2008), back to his alma mater. During his July visit, Prof. Jain shared how engaging with ISB’s faculty deepened his understanding of India, providing him insights that are central to his goal of developing research-driven solutions for the country. He expressed his excitement about reconnecting with the ISB community and collaborating with faculty and students on innovative research ideas. Prof. Jain’s research focuses on supply chain management, food waste, empirical operations, and analytical modeling, blending theoretical and practical insights in global operations and retail.
