In this video, Professor Ashwini Chhatre shares his thought process behind developing “The Teacup Simulation” and his experience implementing it in class. This simulation offers an opportunity for students to test their assumptions about sustainability in a structured manner. The idea is to get them to compare tea cups made from clay, paper, glass, different types of plastic, ceramic, and steel across social, environmental, and economic dimensions.
