Meet Dr. Annamina Rieder, Assistant Professor in Management Information Systems at SFU Beedie School of Business. Originally from Switzerland, Dr. Rieder is passionate about mountaineering and has recently relocated to Vancouver to explore new horizons. At Beedie, she engages in innovative research at the intersection of business and technology, focusing on projects that promote healthy habits through technology, such as digital health wearables and sustainability systems for homes. This semester, Dr. Rieder teaches Managing IT for Business Value to undergraduates and IT & Organizational Transformation in the EMBA program. She believes in the power of education to inspire students and create societal impact.
