Our London Postgraduate 2026 class was represented by Beatriz Lopes Bras, who opened with a confession: she grew up watching YouTube graduation speeches to motivate herself to study, never quite believing she'd one day be giving one. "They're mighty things, and who knows? You might just get them." Beatriz's speech was a thank you, to her fellow graduates, to the faculty who gave them perspective alongside knowledge, to the staff who made students from every corner of the world feel at home, and to the families who answered every phone call no matter the time zone. She brought in the Portuguese word saudade, that bittersweet mix of missing and longing, to describe what this cohort will carry with them from Hult. Her key reflections for the Class of 2026: 1) Try anyway: belonging felt impossible until it wasn't. The most important thing is to start. 2) Carry each other: the sleepless nights, the group projects, the friendships. The people made the journey. 3) Take Hult further: every graduate now carries the name into rooms and communities that haven't heard of it yet.
