As part of ISB’s innovative Block Week initiative, students from the PGP Class of 2025 participated in a unique field-based learning experience under the SEED (Sustainable Empowerment through Emerging Digitisation) programme. A joint initiative by the LAB and the Bharti Institute of Public Policy at ISB, SEED is designed to offer students an immersive opportunity to engage with rural enterprises, understand grassroots challenges, and apply strategic insights toward sustainable development. Led by Professors Ashwini Chhatre and Vishal Karungulam, the course allowed students to explore how digitisation and entrepreneurship are transforming rural livelihoods. Through interactions with farmer producer organisations and community stakeholders, students applied classroom concepts to real-world problems, deepening their understanding of policy, sustainability, and digital transformation at the grassroots. #ISB #BlockWeek #ExperientialLearning #RuralEconomy
