João Talone is our alumnus from the class of MBA '83.
Before commissioning with the Portuguese Government, João worked 13 years for Banco Comercial Português, where João served as an Executive Board Member. From 2002 to 2003, João was a Special Commissioner for the Portuguese Government, leading the unwinding of Investimentos e Participações Empresariais. Before founding Magnum in 2006, João was CEO of EDP, the largest Portuguese industrial company and one of the top European electric utilities. João also served as Vice-Chairman of HidroCantábrico following its acquisition by EDP in 2005 and is currently Chairman of Vendap and Board Member of ITA.
