The Implications of High Levels of Psychopathy in Business Executives
We frequently encounter toxic, dysfunctional and incompetent decision-makers in all areas of management. Dr. Simon Croom's research over the last five years has set out to explore the personality traits of executives, specifically focusing on Psychopathic Personality Disorder (PPD). Working with colleagues at Bond University, Australia, Dr. Croom's study of over 500 executives found a surprisingly high incidence of PPD. Their work has concentrated on characterizing and interpreting the implications of high levels of psychopathy in business executives. Meet Professor of Supply Management, Simon Croom and get to know a little more about his recent research in this short video.
